The project “NEW CHEESE PRODUCTION – INNOVATIONS IN CHEESE PRODUCTION AND
OPTIMIZED PROCEDURES IN STANDARIZATION AND PROMOTION” was presented at an
event held on 15 March 2025, as part of the 33rd Money Show economic conference (14–16
March 2025), hosted at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki. The presentation was followed by a
cheese tasting session.
The Money Show (14–16 March 2025) was organized by the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of
Commerce of Thessaloniki and Organotecnica, in cooperation with the Thessaloniki Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior
(Macedonia–Thrace Sector), the Region of Central Macedonia, the Regional Union of
Municipalities of Central Macedonia, and the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
During the event, the project partners presented the project’s outcomes: ELGO-DIMITRA, Dairy of Ios – NIOTIKO
, Agricultural Cooperative of Paros, Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos (EAS Naxou)
- The presentations included: An overview of the project by Dr Georgios Samouris,
- Presentations by representatives of Dairy of Ios – NIOTIKO, the Agricultural
Cooperative of Paros, and the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Naxos on the
role of their dairies and the cheeses they produce. - A guided tasting and discussion of the cheeses produced within the project.
- A tasting of contemporary cheese-based dishes.
